Democrats are Anti-Individual Rights
The Fairhaven Democratic Committee recently met to discuss appealing to voters with anti-individual rights policies that loot the most productive people for the short-range benefit of the least productive people. No mention was made of Federal taxes that are paid mostly by the wealthy and not at all by the poor.
They want that loot to pay for an arbitrary, undefinable, “living wage,” adding to Medicare socialism with “universal health care” socialism, adding to Social Security socialism with “retirement” socialism, and “affordable child care” socialism. And $20/hour minimum wage socialism based on inflation, not the productivity of individuals. There was no mention of Federal Reserve counterfeiting that (1) IS the inflation that causes price rises and, (2) MORE destructively, shifts investment decisions from long-range, productive businessmen to short-range, unproductive bureaucrats with anti-prosperity, political goals.
They praised Mandami, the socialist/communist NYC politician who wants to “end billionaires” like Marx wanted the middle-class owners of property “swept out of the way, and made impossible.” Democrats are the party of good intentions, consequences be damned. Today, Mandami said that if elected mayor, he would seek the arrest of Netanyahu, the President of the pro-Western, American ally, Israel.
Fairhaven Democrats also discussed their personal sacrifices in donating time and money to local charities. They didn’t link that to Democratic policies. Perhaps it was their version of Republican prayer. Did I stumble into the Church Of St. Karl? Republicans, at least, are honest about the religious basis of nationalism. Democrats evade the religious basis of their allegedly rational socialism. They call it altruism and divert your attention with claims of helping people. But at a sacrifice, not for profit. Helping people is not the moral part of altruism.
I had come to hear about policy, not vows of poverty. I left with a Marxist poster of a fist holding a wrench and calling for a collectivist “Power To The People,” “workers’ rights” and “Workers Over Billionaires.”
The poster also recommended various moderate and extreme Leftist groups which, in turn, recommended other and various moderate and extreme Leftist groups: Indivisible Massachusetts, Democracy Unleashed, New Bedford Coalition To Save Our Schools, Massachusetts 501, Democratic Socialists Of America, Our Revolution Massachusetts, Common Start, Jamaica Plain Progressives, New Democracy, Progressive Massachusetts, Massachusetts Immigrant & Refugee Advocacy, We The People, and Massachusetts 50501.
The most revealing view from these groups is “COMMUNITY OVER CHAOS,” the ancient, tribal, religious claim that the individual is evil. Trump agrees.
