Letter_Correy owes an apology

Correy Owes Apology

It appears that Mr. Correy’s time on the Select Board has been most egregious for him. In reading the various articles in the recent Fairhaven Neighborhood News, it is most troubling to learn that 1. Mr. Espindola knew nothing of the lawsuit currently underway in town. I wonder, are the other members also ignorant of this and, if so, why?

2. We have all just taken the ethics and open meeting training course mandated by the state and I would hope that our Board members and the Town Administrator would be fully informed of the content, and

3. To show such utter disdain and disrespect for one member by another is unforgivable and I believe that Mr. Correy owes the town and Mr Espindola an apology.

I recall in an earlier issue of NN, Mr. Correy showed an unexpected delight in his welcome by the town population. Not a hint of racism then, in his opinion — might be that chip on the shoulder looking for somewhere to land. Sigh.
