Sylvia Works for Acushnet
In the past, I was very critical of Rep. Mark Sylvia. We have very different political points of view. When he was newly elected I would constantly hound him on Transportation Bond Bill money promised to Acushnet. The money promised was reduced significantly. Rep. Sylvia fought and got Acushnet close to the original amount promised.
Members of the Board of Selectmen along with residents had concerns about the MDOT, South Main Street redesign plans. Rep. Sylvia stepped in and made sure our concerns were heard.
Every event in town, Rep. Mark Sylvia has been there. From Cruise Night to Apple Peach Festival. He shows up! He listens and he is receptive to concerns. He’s always willing to have the conversation.
I have to give credit where credit is due. While we still have many differences, we do have something bigger in common. We work for Acushnet. Mark has proven that to me. He has done a great job in his first term. I look forward to working with him in the future. That’s why I give my full endorsement to Rep. Mark Sylvia. Please vote for Rep. Mark Sylvia 10th Bristol District, on November 3rd.
