Romano will be Positive and Independent Voice
I am writing this letter to express my support of Andrew Romano for the Fairhaven Select Board.
I am a resident of Fairhaven, former chairperson of the Fairhaven Cultural Council, and a veteran middle school teacher. Prior to Andrew’s career in real estate, I had the pleasure of working with him through the SMEC program at Ford Middle School in Acushnet, where Andrew’s strong work ethic, positivity, and character were assets to our school community.
Since then, I have appreciated how Andrew has employed these qualities to become an asset to the Fairhaven community as well.
If given the opportunity to serve on the Fairhaven Select Board, I believe that Andrew Romano will listen and consider diverse viewpoints with an open mind. His experience in different career paths gives him the ability to understand issues from a variety of perspectives:
Andrew can appreciate the needs of both business owners and residents of our community. Andrew has also participated in town government, currently serving as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals and as a Town Meeting member. He is familiar with meeting norms and procedures, and can be counted on to be respectful and collegiate.
I am most inspired by Andrew’s community service work. He is fully committed to improving our community, and has volunteered tirelessly for numerous organizations including the Fairhaven Rotary Club and the North Fairhaven Improvement Association, where he serves as President.
As a Select Board member, Andrew would likewise make decisions that have meaningful impacts on the town and residents.
If elected, Andrew will be a positive and independent voice on the Select Board who will focus on doing what is genuinely best for our town.
I strongly encourage Fairhaven residents to vote for Andrew Romano for Select Board on April 1.
Kristine Daniels, Fairhaven
