Powers is Logical, Open Minded
I first got to know Stasia Powers as a fellow member of the “Yes Group.” This group was formed out of a grassroots effort to inform the public about the need for a new Elementary School in Fairhaven.
During our tenure on the “Yes Group” I found Stasia to be logical, fact based, and open minded when listening to the opinions of others who held a different point of view. As far as I could tell, Stasia did not base her decisions on any deep seated ideology. Stasia let the research and only the facts guide her to her ultimate conclusions on the proposed project.
What impressed me the most about Stasia was her kindness, laugh, accessibility, and her willingness to work with others for the greater good of Fairhaven. Stasia made everyone feel welcomed and valued.
Stasia’s sense of humanity and civility make her uniquely qualified to be an effective public servant. I’m honored to have her as a friend.
It is because of these outstanding qualities that I will enthusiastically support and vote for Stasia Powers for Select Board. I hope you consider voting for Stasia as well.
