Trump made a comment about John McCain’s POW imprisonment during the Vietnam War.
“I like people who didn’t get captured”…yes, that’s a quote that is well documented by our draft-dodging president.
McCain was a decorated war hero who was imprisoned for five years.
Trump spent the same amount of time dodging the draft. Four of those years was for attending college. The last and final year was for allegedly having bad feet.
To all the loyal Trump supporters or anyone, try this. Go to a darkened room and sit for an hour. Don’t have any access to TV, Music, iPads etc. Just sit. I would bet it would be very difficult to do that.
Now multiply that one hour X 24 hours in a day X 365 days per year then X five years in prison for a total of 8,760 hours of prison as a POW.
I tried that hour in a room. I made it but as the time went on it became difficult, but my respect for John McCains courage went up 8760%.
McCain was a true American war hero. Trump was not.
