Notice is hereby given that the Fairhaven Planning Board will conduct a Public Hearing at 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday September 26, 2023, at Town Hall, 40 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive information and public comment on the following applications: 1) SD23-03 – Sharon Simmons, the owner of 5 Billy’s Way, seeks to discontinue the area of a paper road, Torrington Road, that abuts the east side of her property. The property is located at Map 29A Lots 185 & 186. 2) SP23-06 – 54 Main Street. The applicant, Julio Barbosa, is requesting approval through the Special Permit review process to renovate the existing building to include 12 single bedroom apartments. The proposal includes Fairhaven Map 9 Lot 78. 3) SP23-07 – 350 Main Street. The applicant, Julio Barbosa, is requesting approval through the Special Permit review process to renovate the existing theater into a commercial space. The proposal includes Fairhaven Map 19 Lots 257 & 259.
