Town of Acushnet Public Hearing
The Acushnet Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing at its meeting on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room located at 122 Main Street, Acushnet. This hearing is on the petition #MA2024-03 from Verizon New England Inc. and NSTAR Electric Company d/b/a Eversource. To install one (1) JO pole to be labeled 182/15.25, on the east side of Wing Lane, which will be approx. 365’ southerly from the centerline of Pageotte Street. The new pole will be installed in-line with and approximately 87’ south of existing pole 182/15; and approx. 84’ north of existing pole 182/15.5.
The installation of this pole is being requested by Eversource to support the existing pole line leading to their property at 101 Wing Street.
