TOWN OF FAIRHAVEN REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
MACOMBER AND PIMENTAL PARK – BMX PARK PROJECT
Town of Fairhaven Request for Qualifications Contractor Prequalification for a BMX Park Project located in Macomber & Pimental Park. The Town of Fairhaven is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and invites qualified and experienced Contractors to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to prequalify for the construction of the new BMX Park. The Project consists of the demolition of the existing BMX (gravel) park, restoration of that area, construction of a new asphalt BMX Park including stormwater improvements and a rain garden. Construction is anticipated to begin July 2025 with a project duration of 75 days. This RFQ will be used to prequalify Contractors and will determine who will be invited to submit a bid pursuant to Section 44E and 44F of Chapter 149 of the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30-Section 39M.
Interested firms must submit a SOQ by the deadline noted and be prequalified if they are interested in later bidding on this project. Only the pre-qualified firms will be invited to submit bids.
The RFQ will be available May 28, 2025, for electronic download. RFQ may be viewed and downloaded as a Portable Document Format (PDF) file free of charge on or after Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at www.accentblueprints.com. Printed copies may be obtained for a fee by completing an order online or calling 978-362-8038 for each set. Completed orders may be picked up at the office of Accent Blueprints located at 99 Chelmsford Road, (Rear#13) North Billerica, Ma 01862 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Printed copies may also be shipped to prospective bidders for an additional charge to cover handling and mailing fees. All payments for printing and shipping are non-refundable. To be added to the RFQ list to guarantee receipt of the addenda, it is recommended interested bidders obtain the documents directly from Accent Blueprints. Interested contractors will be prompted to register an email address with Accent Blueprints to access the documents.
Submissions will be received by the Public Works Department, 5 Arsene Street, Fairhaven, Massachusetts, until 1:30 pm, June 12, 2025. Further details are in the RFQ.
