Notice is hereby given that the Fairhaven Planning Board will conduct two Public Hearings at 6:30 P.M. on Thursday November 10, 2022 at Town Hall, 40 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA. 1 The purpose of the hearing will be to receive information and public comment on the following Definitive Subdivision application: 1) DS 2022-01- Starboard Drive Estates, an 8-Lot Subdivision. The applicants, Starboard Drive Nominee Trust (John P. Mathieu, Trustee), are requesting approval through the Definitive Subdivision review process to create an 8-lot subdivision. Currently the property is an approximately 9.5-acre compound with 5 cottages on the west side of Sconticut Neck Road across from Goulart Memorial Drive. The proposal includes Fairhaven Map 42 Lots 9D, 9E and portions of 9A. The proposal includes establishing frontage for the proposed 8-lot subdivision by creating a new street with a cul-de-sac turnaround and associated landscaping and stormwater controls.
2 The purpose of the hearing will be to receive information and public comment on the following Special Permit application: 1) SP 2022-09- Mirasol’s Cafe. The applicants, CGMA Fairhaven LLC, are requesting approval through the Special Permit review process to create a new approximately 2,200 sf restaurant building with a drive-through on the site of the Fairhaven Car Wash on the former Benny’s property on the corner of Spring Street and Huttleston Avenue. The proposal is on a portion of Fairhaven Map 26 Lots 60, 60A, 60B and 61.
Copies of the applications are on file for public review at the Planning Board Office, Town Hall by appointment and on the Town website.
