Notice is hereby given that the Fairhaven Planning Board will conduct two Public Hearings at 6:30 PM on Tuesday March 23, 2021, remotely and from Town Hall. 1. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive information and public comment on the following Definitive Subdivision application: 1) DS 2021-03- Beach Street Masse, a proposal for a one-lot subdivision. The applicants, Daniel E. and Jillian A. Masse, are requesting approval through the Definitive Subdivision review process to develop an unaccepted paper street to create frontage to build a house. The location is Map 19 Lot 19 (35,025 square feet) on Beach Street between Alpine and Newbury Streets.
2. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive information and public comment on the following Definitive Subdivision application: 1) DS21-02- Hermeneau Frederick Avenue, a proposal for a one-lot subdivision. The applicants, Steven M. & Sandra J. Hermeneau, are requesting approval through the Definitive Subdivision review process to develop what is currently an unaccepted paper street to connect to an undersized lot which they feel is “grandfathered” in order to build a house. The location is Map 29A Lots 168 and 169 (10,000 square feet between 2 lots) on a paper road listed as Frederick Avenue off of Sconticut Neck Road in Fairhaven.
