REGISTRATION INFORMATION
2021-2022 Academic Year
Children who are expected to enter Kindergarten or First Grade in the Fairhaven Public Schools next September must be registered at their neighborhood school the week of March 8-12, 2021. Parents must call the school during registration week (March 8 – 12) between 9:00 am and until 3:00 pm and give the secretary information on their incoming kindergarten student. The secretary will email/mail the paperwork required to register their child. Please return the completed packet by March 31, 2021.
Entrance age Kindergarten: Any child, resident of Fairhaven, who turns age five (5) on or before August 31, 2021 is eligible to register for Kindergarten.
Entrance age First Grade: Any child, resident of Fairhaven, who is six (6) years of age on or before August 31, 2021 is eligible for first grade.
Children already attending Kindergarten in the Fairhaven Public Schools do not need toregister for first grade.
Items that must be provided at the time of registration are:
• Birth Certificate
• Immunization records
• Residency Statement
• Proof of Residency
• Registration Form
Certified copy of probate court order or judgment relative to the custody of the child. In the event of a restraining order or other legal decree, please ensure that up-to-date information is on file in the school office.
