PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The Fairhaven Conservation Commission will hold the following Public Hearings pursuant to the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. c. 131, s. 40) and the Code of the Town of Fairhaven Chapter 192, Wetlands:
1) CON-19-013 30 Alder Street Notice of Intent filed by April and Joel Briner for the construction of a new one-bay garage, and two additions and a new deck on the existing house at the property located at 30 Alder Street, Assessors Map 43A, Lot 15. Work to take place within Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage/Flood Zone V and Buffer Zone to Beach and Bank resource areas.
2 CON-19-017 Nasketucket Bay – off Fish Island Notice of Intent filed by the Town of Fairhaven for batch permitting for Town aquaculture grants, to authorized licensees at all times of the year, in, upon, or from a 6-acre aquaculture development area in Nasketucket Bay off Fish Island to: (1) plant and grow shellfish both on and off the bottom; (2) place shellfish in or under protective devices affixed directly to the tidal flats or land under coastal waters; (3) harvest and take legal shellfish; (4) plant cultch for the purpose of catching shellfish seed; and (5) grow shellfish by means of racks, rafts, or floats. Work to take place within Coastal Waters, Land Under Coastal Waters, Tidal Flats, and Land Containing Shellfish.
