Announcement:
The following bylaw changes which were accepted at the Fairhaven Annual Town Meeting which convened on May 4, 2024 have been approved by the Office of the Attorney General, are published herewith in accordance with the current regulations. Claims of invalidity of any of the amendments to the bylaw by reason of any defect in the procedure of the adoption or replacement may only be made within ninety days of this announcement.
Copies of the bylaw may be examined at the Town Clerk’s Office, 40 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA
ARTICLE 17 AMEND BYLAWS CHAPTER 119
Motion was made and seconded that the Town vote to amend Bylaws, Chapter 119, Section 3 Acceptance of Fee Schedule as outlined below by replacing existing language with language in bold.
ARTICLE 18 AMEND BYLAWS 87, 206 AND 405
Motion was made and seconded that the Town vote to amend Bylaws, Chapter 87, Chapter 205 and Chapter 405 as outlined in the warrant by striking some of the existing language and adding underlined language.
ARTICLE 19 AMEND BYLAWS STORMWATER MANAGEMENT
Motion was made and seconded that the Town vote to amend Bylaws, Chapter 194 Stormwater Management and 198.31.1 and 322-26 as outlined in the warrant by striking some of the existing language and adding underlined language.
ARTICLE 20 AMEND BYLAWS ZONING AND PLANNING

Motion was made and seconded that the Town vote to amend Bylaws Chapters 65 as written in the warrant.

Motion was made and seconded that the Town vote to amend Bylaws Chapter 306 as written in the warrant.
MOTION 8
Motion was made and seconded that the Town vote to amend Bylaws Chapter 316 as amended on the floor.
MOTION 9
Motion was made and seconded that the Town vote to amend Bylaws Chapter 322 as written in the warrant.
ARTICLE 21 BYLAW FLOW NEUTRAL
Motion was made and seconded that the Town vote to establish Bylaw Chapter 158, Section 3 Flow Neutral or take any action relative thereto:
ARTICLE 22 TREE BYLAWS
22A: AMEND BYLAWS, CHAPTER 76 TREE WARDEN
Motion was made and seconded that the Town vote to amend Bylaws, Chapter 76, § 1 as outlined in the warrant by striking some of the existing language and adding underlined language.
22B: NEW BYLAW, CHAPTER 88 PUBLIC SHADE TREE
Motion was made and seconded that the Town vote to establish Bylaw Chapter 88 Public Shade Tree
