Legal Notice Fairhaven BPW RFP Ultraviolet Disinfection

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ULTRAVIOLET DISINFECTION SYSTEM PROCUREMENT

FAIRHAVEN, MA

The Town of Fairhaven is requesting proposals from qualified equipment Vendors to furnish an ultraviolet disinfection system for effluent disinfection to be incorporated in the planned Fairhaven Water Pollution Control Facility Upgrades Project. A Request for Pro­posals (RFP) describing the Vendor’s scope of supply, qualifications, and other requirements will be available January 9th, 2023 from the Tighe & Bond website located at http://www.tighebond.com/Projects_Out_ to_Bid.php. Prospective bidders are required to register on the Tighe & Bond website to download documents. 

RFP documents shall be available for viewing only at the Town of Fairhaven Board of Public Works, Sewer Department, 5 Arsene Street, Fairhaven, Massachu­setts, 02719 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, legal holidays excluded. 

Proposals will be received at the Town of Fairhaven Board of Public Works, Sewer Department, 5 Arsene Street, Fairhaven, Massachusetts, 02719 until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023. The Proposals will not be opened publicly. 

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B for the procurement of goods and services. Respondents shall submit separate pro­posals for the technical and cost elements as described in the RFP. Following the submittal of proposals, tech­nical proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the criteria stated in the RFP by the person(s) designated by the Town of Fairhaven’s Board of Public Works to perform such evaluation(s). Once proposals are evaluated, the evaluations shall be submitted to the Board of Public Works who shall open price proposals and award an Agreement, if at all, to the responsive and responsible Vendor whose proposal is deemed the most advantageous, taking into consideration price and the evaluation criteria included in the RFP. The Town reserves the right to assign any agreement awarded under this RFP to a General Contractor who will be performing construction services for the Fairhaven Water Pollution Control Facility Upgrades Project under Contract with the Town. 

The successful Vendor shall furnish the equipment and services necessary to meet the requirements of the RFP.
