Notice is hereby given that the Acushnet Planning Board will conduct three public hearings on September 22, 2022 @ 6:30pm in the Board of Selectmen’s meeting room at Town Hall, 122 Main Street, Acushnet MA 02743. This will be a Hybrid meeting with a Zoom option:

• This meeting is held in accordance with Chapter 40A, Section 5, to consider the following warrant article: The purpose of this by-law is to permit the creation of new commercial solar photovoltaic installations that are to produce 200 kW or greater by providing comprehensive standards for the placement, design, construction, operation, monitoring, modification, and removal of such installations to promote and address public safety and minimize the impacts on scenic, natural and historic resources, and promote public health and welfare.
• This meeting is held in accordance with Chapter 40A, Section 5, to consider the following warrant article: To see if the Town will vote to amend the Town of Acushnet Official zoning map by rezoning a parcel of land identified in Assessor’s records as Map 15, Lots 482 and 534, from the Residential A zoning district to the Residential Village zoning district; or take any other action thereto.
• Site Plan Modification, Syncarpha LLC., Park Drive Acushnet MA. This hybrid meeting is being held in accordance with Acushnet General Bylaws, Zoning Article VIII, Sections 3.4 and 3.5, to process a modification for a site plan review and a special permit for a 7.5 MW solar array proposed by Syncarpha LLC. The engineer is Weston & Sampson.
The plans and accompanying documentation are available for inspection at the Town Clerk’s Office, Parting Ways Building, 130 Main St. 1st Floor, during regular business hours.
