PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Acushnet Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Police Station Conference Room located at 64 Middle Road, Acushnet, Massachusetts.
• Public Hearing ANRAD – Ray White / 211 Middle Road SE 001-0591 An Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation was filed by Ray White for property located at 211 Middle Road, Map 23, Block 29.29A, Lot 29B. The applicant is represented by Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc. Plan name is “Existing Conditions Plan” dated November 2023; revised March 18, 2024.
• Public Hearing After the Fact RDA – Bruno Pires / 12 Mattapoisett Road An After the Fact Request for Determination was filed by Bruno Pires for property located at 12 Mattapoisett Road, Map 10, Lot 16. The applicant constructed a single family home located on the south side of Mattapoisett Road – 5.34 acre lot. Construction included a single-family dwelling, associated grading and utilities with the 100 ft. buffer zone to a bordering vegetated wetland. The applicant is represented by Karlis Skulte of Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. Plan name is “Subsurface Sewage Disposal System” dated June 30, 2015; revised March 8, 2024.
• Public Hearing RDA – Slocum Street Project / Town of Acushnet A Request for Determination was filed by the Town of Acushnet, James Kelley – Town Administrator for Slocum Street Infrastructure Improvements Project. The applicant proposes water main, stormwater and roadway improvements within the Slocum Street and South Main Street rights-of-ways. Work results in temporary disturbance to Riverfront Area and the 100-foot buffer zone. The applicant is represented by Claire Hoogeboom of LEC Environmental Consultants, Inc. Plan name is “Slocum Street Infrastructure Improvements Plan” dated February 2024.
