St. John Neumann’s Lakeside Family Festival, held on Memorial Day Weekend, has become an anticipated event in the area. Because our emphasis is to present a weekend of activities directed to all family members, we demand a safe and secure environment: absolutely no alcoholic beverages are allowed on the grounds.
The festival is located at Cathedral Camp on Long Pond, Route 18, (Middleboro Road) in East Freetown, Mass. FREE ADMISSION!
The dates and hours are: Fri., 5/24, 6–11 p.m.; Sat. & Sun., Noon–11 p.m.; Mon., 5/27, Noon–5 p.m.
Amusement rides for all ages-ethnic and American food booths–midway game booths of skill and chance– including our “GRAND” raffle, and our renowned GIANT Barn Sale. Also enjoy delicious freshly prepared home-baked goods. On Sunday, at 8 a.m., registration begins for our 29th Annual Antique and Classic Car Show, registration fee is $10.00.Judging begins at 2 p.m. and the awards section is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. (Rain date will be Monday.)
Blessing of the Bikes takes place on Saturday. Riders $15. And passengers $10. Registration begins at Noon and kickstands are up at 1 pm. (Rain Date will be Sunday)
