Massachusetts-based Koopman Lumber Company announced that it is expanding on the South Coast through the acquisition of Fairhaven Lumber, LLC at 120 Alden Rd. in Fairhaven, MA.
“The new location will enhance and improve our ability to serve customers on the South Cost with local Pro Sales desks and local inventory.In addition, the Fairhaven location will allow us to better serve South Coast customers with the additional services of our Engineering and Estimating Group, our Custom Trim Shop and more” says Tony Brookhouse, COO of Koopman.

Koopman Lumber began in 1939 when a builder – Peter Koopman – began selling lumber and supplies to fellow builders out of his garage.That first-hand knowledge of the building trade fueled growth, and still inspires our vision today.
Koopman Lumber will now have ten locations in Massachusetts. Seven of them have full Pro Sales desks, one is a full-service paint store, and two are distribution centers.
