To further its digital equity efforts, the Town of Fairhaven is pleased to collaborate with the Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI) on a residential survey. All households are encouraged to complete the survey which is intended to assess internet accessibility, device and technical support availability, service affordability, and digital education needs within the community. Data gathered from this survey will be used to inform statewide digital equity efforts and ensure that forthcoming federal funding – administered by the state – will directly benefit local programs for Fairhaven residents.
The survey will be available online and in print, and will be provided in multiple languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Russian, Arabic, and Khmer. To participate in the online survey visit https://made.civilspace.io/en/projects/ma-digital-equity/engagements/ma-sdep-public-survey/sections/1.
If you do not have access to the internet, printed surveys can be picked up and returned to the Fairhaven Select Board Office, 40 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719
