Fairhaven will be flushing hydrants beginning Monday, 6/10, through Thurday, 6/13, from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night. From Acushnet Rd Mattapoisett to Rt 6 & New Boston Road as well as Howard Farms. Thank you for your patience and co-operation. DO NOT USE THE HOT WATER UNTIL THE COLD WATER IS CLEAR.
The program will last approximately one week. The water may become discolored in your area but should not last more than a day once the flushing is complete in the area. In the event that rust or sediment is present, wait approximately two hours for any disturbance that was caused by the flushing to settle and run the cold water faucet nearest the water meter.
