Fairhaven’s Huttleston Marketplace includes scores of booths every Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring local vendors selling select hand made arts and crafts, quality antiques and vintage collectibles, upcycled items, fresh farm produce, and locally prepared foods.
Last week a group of home schooled students showed their creative side selling hand made items and lemonade.
The four students, Azalea, Maximus, Vincent, and Jupiter, are learning how to sell the things they make, how to talk to people (customer service), and how to make money.
“We want money,” they said.
And it looked like they were succeeding.
