The North Fairhaven Improvement Association held its annual Halloween Parade on Sunday, 10/27, an event that has been held every year since 1950. Hundreds of horribles and beauties and ghouls and ghosts, and superheroes and villains filled Main Street from Benoit Square to St. Mary’s Church.

Behind the church, treats, including hot chocolate and candy, awaited the horde. Prizes were awarded for Most Beautiful, Most Horrible, Most Original in five age categories. Miss New Bedford Outstanding Teen Tori Kalisz also played real-life princess for the youngsters.

The NFIA sent out special thanks to  Subway, Emma Jean’s, Papa Gino’s, Wendy’s, Galazy Pizza, Gail Konerth, and Joe and Loralynn Beaulieu.
