The floating dock at Hoppy’s Landing will be removed for routine maintenance. It will be out of the water for a maximum of seven days. Harbormaster Tim Cox said that some maintenance is done to the dock every year while it is floating, but every five years the dock needs to be pulled from the water for more extensive maintenance. The work will be done at Hoppy’s Landing. The gangway gate will be closed. The ramp will be open.
The dock was scheduled to come out of the water on 11/2, but the removal was delayed.
