Fairhaven’s Town Hall was transformed into one big Halloween party, complete with free candy, costumes, contests, activities, and all-around just fooling-around fun.
Outside the street was closed to traffic for people to gather and watch dperformances by the dancers of Supreme Perfection Studio; food trucks; a petting zoo and more.
Inside, children of all ages could visit the Arts & Crafts room to make Crystal Balls out of paper, Haunted Houses, Brew a Potion, Boo-tiful bracelets, coloring, Trick or Triva, and watch “Halloweentown” on TV.
Upstairs, they could join a variety of activities, including a Trick or Trivia contest, costume contest, photo ops, and trick or treating at tables sponsored by Fairhaven nonprofits and businesses, turning the auditorium into what could be describe as “controlled chaos.”
Everything was free.
The ninth annual event is sponsored by Fairhaven TV, the town’s cable access department.
