Approximately 300 people visited Fairhaven Town hall on Thursday, 10/25/18, to enjoy some Halloween fun courtesy of Fairhaven Community Media (Comcast channels 18 & 95). The event included a costume contest, freebies for the kids (and the young at heart), ghoulish gams, scavenger hunt, photo booth, trick-or-treating, and lots of picture taking with fun backgrounds. Entertainment included a magical show and Halloween movies. The family friendly event exceeded the expectations of “The Peanut Gang” organizers.
“It was an unbelievable turnout. Non stop action from 5-8 p.m.,” said Government/Public Access Director Derek Frates in an email.
He’s almost ready to start giving lessons to people who want to host their own public access shows. Contact him at 774-328-8828, or FairhavenTV@gmail.com to get started.
