Fairhaven held a birthday party on 2/22/26, to celebrate 214 years as a town. Food trucks, trivia contests, games for kids, music and cannon fire combined to make a festive celebration outside and inside town hall.
The festivities began with the Fairhaven Village Militia firing off the small cannon, followed by the church bells ringing out “Happy Birthday” and a violin performance.
Inside, Mark Twain and Henry Huttleston Rogers actors entertained and informed the crowd, followed by a program of activities to entertain and inform.
The event will be on FairhavenTV.com community media in a few weeks.
