Southcoast residents are invited to attend Hannah’s Bags of Kindness – a fundraiser hosted by Dartmouth High School junior and Miss New Bedford’s Outstanding Teen 2022, Hannah Lima. The event offers guests an evening of food, live entertainment, auction items, and more – all for a critical cause.
Sat., 3/19, from 6:00pm to 11:00pm at the Century House, located at 107 South Main Street in Acushnet. Proceeds will directly benefit foster and adoptive children, with a portion also being donated to celebrate and honor local healthcare professionals.
Tickets are $50 each. Attendees are also encouraged, but not required, to bring new backpacks and duffle bags to help a child move between homes. Additionally, Lima seeks new blankets and basic toiletries to support homeless and transitional youth. Any donated item will entitle the guest to a free raffle sheet. This event is just one initiative hosted by Lima during her dedicated year of service. As a passionate volunteer, Lima hopes to empower others to donate their time and perform acts of kindness to improve their communities. Lima is being supported by her volunteer committee within the Miss New Bedford Scholarship Organization.
