This Forum is designed to inform South Coast voters, especially New Bedford City Voters-, of different issue positions of the Democratic Gubernatorial candidates. It encourages wide participation from youth and adults, all ethnicities and residents. It is a great opportunity to vocalize our requirements for policy actions and commit them to earn your vote.

The PUBLIC FORUM is a welcoming environment for voters to listen to candidates, Come and score them on how each responded to local concerns and steadfast as democrats on global and state concerns. The OPEN FAIR will have booths that offer Voter Registration Information, Candidate Advocacy briefing materials, a local Farmer’s Market and welcoming local Music. Democratic candidates will meet and greet voters. Gubernatorial Candidates, Robert (Bob) Massie and Jay Gonsalves and other candidates for federal, state and local offices are expected at both FAIR and FORUM.

Organizers of the event have collaborated with Democratic City and Town Committees, local organizations and stakeholders throughout the South Coast. They have generated questions, which highlight issues relating to transportation, public safety, education, economy, fishing climate change and renewable energy. Each candidate will be allotted time for opening and closing statements.
