A small but enthusiastic group braved the wet and sloppy weather on Saturday night to sing songs and greet Santa in Fairhaven. The annual Town Hall sing was moved indoors because the snow had turned to rain.

The Fairhaven Improvement Association hosted the event upstairs in the Town Hall auditorium, where the girl group BLC led the crowd in song and prompted the children to sing into the microphone and dance a little, too.
Santa Claus managed to find his way up the stairs to pose for pictures and hand out coloring books to the children. The FIA provided hot chocolate and sweets for the free event.
The event capped off a full day of holiday themed events as part of the Old-Time Holiday celebration.
Sunday’s events included a holiday house tour of decorated homes in Fairhaven.
