Well, we had a lucky one this week. A missing Fairhaven woman was found alive and okay (see page 7). Things were starting to look a little grim after 30’sh hours, but then she showed up.
Good work by all the agencies that searched so hard for her, and the volunteers and residents who contributed with information, surveillance video, etc.
The latest word is that she’s going to be okay.
On another note…
DST is here! Change your clocks FORWARD this weekend. This was supposed to be the last time we had to do this, but those numbnuts in the Senate did not pass it. The House passed a bill to keep DST permanent after this change, but the so-called “upper chamber” didn’t get their part done.
Call your senators. Tell ’em we want to see the light!
There’s a bunch of great news in here, of course, but it’s time to get this baby to bed.
