Oh, I know I was supposed to rant about something this week, but, it’s just too late. Maybe I’ll remember what it was for next week.
We have a seriously jam-packed issue this week.
First, how about that Sunny, huh? She’s such a cuddly one. See page 7 to read all about her first birthday bash with the Acushnet students.
Speaking of Acushnet, we have the candidates night on page 19.
And on page 12, you’ll find Fairhaven’s Town Meeting. They passed the larger budget, the contingent budge, and a backup budger (no, really, they did).
They passed a ban on plastic grocery bags and nips.
Oh, and Acushnet is a Purple Heart town (page 6).
Gee, what else?
Oh, right, Acushnet voters, get out there on Saturday and cast your vote. You have two contested races. The voters need to choose.
Stamp out Hunger is this Saturday, too (see page 3). Be sure to put out a few canned goods in or near your mailbox so your letter carrier can pick them up.
There’s a cleanup at the Rogers School, too, on Satuday.
Busy day.
And, don’t forget that water flushing is going on around town. They should notifiy you if they’re going to be in your neighborhood (see page 5).
The Happenings are picking up, and you can find listings and announcements all over these pages.
Please note who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads here.
Until next week then…see ya,
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
