From the editor 11-20-25

Lots and lots of happenings for you this week. I thought we’d get a jump on some of the holiday events coming up to give you a little more time to plan. See pages 3, 5, 20, 21, and couple of other spots, too.

The Old Colony vote failed. I got results from four of the five towns, with Acushnet being a resounding “no.” See page 4 for that.

Our cover story is about a veterans support event held in Fairhaven. It hooked up veterans with services they might need or might be able to get for free. See page 12 for that.

On page 13, the Fairhaven Sustainability committee has pointed out a few places to experience nature before it gets too cold. I know, I know, these last couple of days have been pretty icy. But it’s bound to warm up a bit before winter really hits.

So the Big Buffoon lost his fight against the Epstein files. What a joke. As if those neanderthals give a you-know-what about women and girls. They just think that someone they hate will be in there. And then, that’s all the will focus on, no matter what the Big Buffoon did.

You’re in a cult. Get help.

Meanwhile, there was not a single arrest from the Chicago-jump-out-of-helicopters nightmare to scare the bejeebers out of people in the middle of the night that. Dozens of people traumatized and not one single arrest. Yeah, not one. Those guys need to go.

Meanwhile, maybe we found a little bit of community and humanity again. Not just protecting our immigrant neighbors (go Chicago!) but helping people who need food. I don’t care if they are immigrants or not. We are the richest country in the world. No one should be hungry here. No one. And if you think it’s okay to take critical help from people who need it, you’re in the cult and you need to get help.

Be sure to notice who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News.

Until next week, then, see ya,

Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
