Well, the weekend weather the last few months has been horrendous, yes?
The Halloween Horribles parade was canceled due to rain. We had a lot of that going on all summer. Geesh.
And now, sniff sniff, summer is over. We turn back the clocks this weekend. Yes, BACK, so at least we gain an hour’s sleep. But, it will get dark sooooo early. Ah well.
We have lots of good stuff in here this week.
Acushnet had its Fire Department open house (see page 12), even though the rain was off and on all day.
The Haunted Town Hall had hundreds of participants (page 13), and Engine 2 is in service (page 13).
We also have some meeting news. Acushnet will be holding its fall Town Meeting next week. See page 3 for a rundown on the articles they’ll face.
And, there’s a little more from last week’s marathon Fairhaven Select Board meeting on page 4.
There’s a couple of other fun things in here, of course. Thumb through to find it all. And while you’re doing that, be sure to note who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News.
Until next week then, see ya
