OOOEEE….it’s that time of year again. It’s a whole week early for my favorite holiday, but next week would be too late. So, you have plenty of time to follow the trail. All the stops on our trail this year are up and running and will be lit up every night through Halloween.
See page 12 for the trail, and see page 6 for other fun Halloween happenings, like the Haunted Town Hall and the Horribles parade.
We’ve got some voting news in this week’s issue. There are five ballot questions on the 11/5 ballot. See page 4 for a summary of each one and links to find out more. You can also look at a sample ballot online so you aren’t surprised when you get into the voting booth.
And early voting is happening now. See page 3 for when and where you can vote.
Acushnet’s elementary school principal was recognized. See page 18 for that.
There’s other stuff in here, of course, including some fun letters to the editor on page 22.
The happenings pages have some other fun stuff to do, besides Halloween stuff (I mean, if you’re so inclined). See 5, 11, 14 for that.
And take your time going through the pages, so you notice who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News.
Alas, the winter wood has arrived, I guess it’s time to put the storm window in the door and wrap up the boat for the season. Sniff, sniff.
Until next week then, see ya,
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
