Brrr…it’s cold out there. Again.
I suppose you skiers will like it, but…how can you DO that?
My little dog just turns tail and runs right back in the house. He’s a smaht dog.
Anyway, it looks like this batch of cold air won’t last either. I hope we get one picture of the marsh completely frozen over. Today’s cover is close, but…not quite there yet.
See page 12 for some more frozen pics.
We have an election update for you this week (see page 3). And, we have TWO races. Five people are going after the three seats on the ballot in April, and two are running for one spot on the Board of Health.
Oh…I DO love a race.
Let the games begin!
We have COVID sniffing dogs in the schools now (see page 22). Apparently they’ve been in there for months. They will also be visiting some town government buildings, too. I’m hoping to catch one of those soon and get a good report to you on how it all works.
We also have a little meeting coverage for you. Fairhaven BPW is on page 17, and Acushnet Selectboard is on page 16.
The Oxford Residences seem like they are on track (see page 13). On the company’s website they are still saying they anticipate spring 2022 occupancy. The building looks pretty much constructed, but it still looks like they have a long way to go. I couldn’t raise up anyone at the company by press time.
There’s other stuff in here, of course. The happenings pages are have some fun stuff to do, so be sure to check them out.
