Oh, the festa! What fun. The rain held off all weekend and Monday, too.
It was jam packed by all accounts, at least on night one.
And the malasadas lived up to expectations. The best malasadas on planet earth!

We have a Select Board story for you this week, although it was on deadline night, so… (see page 4).
Wayne Oliveira asked to appeal his no-trespass notice, but then changed his mind, but then still wanted to speak. Yup…I’m not making this up.
Some of his supporters were there to speak during the public comment period.
God bless America, we all get to take sides.
But, y’know, maybe, just maybe, you might want to get a little more information before deciding and going on and on about a thing. We all tend to surround ourselves with like minded people. That’s normal, that’s the way of the world. But, that also means we often do not see more than one side to a thing.
Loyalty to friends is great, for the friends on the receiving end of that loyalty. But, blind loyalty can be a little dangerous.
Tread carefully, people. As you try to protect the reputation of another, you may be harming your own.
The first day of school was last week. We totally spaced on it, but a couple of my neighbors came through with pics so we can mark the auspicious occasion with color!
