Oh, we have lots of fun stuff in here this week.
The Fishing Derby for the kids looks like it was lots of fun and everyone learned a little about fishing. See page 12 for than.
Acushnet is getting ready to sell one of its old buildings, the former Russell Memorial Library (see page 3), so they need to move some stuff. And by “stuff,” I mean a monument that might weigh up to 60 tons, yeah, tons. I wasn’t able to get the whole weight by press time, but the base alone is 30 tons. Yeah, tons.
How cool, huh? You go, Acushnet, you go. You sure knew how to build ’em in the day.
It will take a few days to move it, then a few weeks to install it in the new location. So, go check it out. But, hey, stay out of the way of the workers, okay?
Fairhaven has a new robot to clean up the waters. How cool is that? We’re going high tech around here. But, the little guy needs a name. See page 11 on how you can name the little gadget.
There’s a bunch of other great stuff in here of course, and while you’re looking through, be sure to tell our advertisers you saw their ads in the Neighb News.
Until next week, then, see ya,

PS: It’s not libel if it’s true. Everyone is protected by the First Amendment, not just journalists. And y’all need a thicker skin.
PPS: Oh, look. I made a mistake on a Romano statement and he didn’t take to social media to whine like a little baby and accuse me of defaming his character. None of his relatives did, either. How positively grown up of them.
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
