Oh, rough week. These meetings on deadline day are a killer.
I’m going to have to zip through this one, so no time for Big Buffoon talk (well, maybe a litte).
On Memorial Day this week, we had events to remind us that freedom isn’t free. Some of the veterans I spoke with understand how dangerous this Buffoon is. They did not put their lives on the line so some con artist could turn our country into a totalitarian regime with all the profits squarely in his pocket and the pockets of the 1%.
All kinds of people talking about “our freedom” this Memorial Day. What freedom is that? The one where a brain-dead pregnant women is kidnapped for months, yes months, because she is just an incubator now? The one where people get nabbed and thrown in jail for no reason other than a G-Man doesn’t like the look of them? The one that throws the whole weight of the mighty US government against you for disagreeing with Dear Leader?
That’s not freedom, no matter how hard you pretend or lie to yourself. It just is not.
I doubt all this “Home of the free because of the Brave” talk is supposed to mean the regime can just steal you from your life for no reason other than they disagree with you or your skin color is wrong.
I repeat: It is NOT okay to pluck people off the streets and throw them away to another country…or even this country. I don’t care how bad they are. We can handle ’em. Or, we used to be able to, before the Whiner-In-Chief got elected.
There’s coverage of Fairhaven’s parade on page 12, and Acushnet’s ceremony on page 13.
There’s some meeting coverage on page 3. Poor Mr. Carr (NOT): he just isn’t getting his way these days.
I think I have to dig out some of those screen shots of his rants against me online. I mean, now that all of a sudden, social media etiquette is so important, right (see page 3)?
Until next week then,
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
