Oh boy…I think I’m too old for my life. Here it is, well into tomorrow and I’m not done yet. That means I have to give short shrift to the Big Bufoon and his hell-bent effort to destroy this once-majestic country of ours. So, I’ll keep it short: Wow, Canada, you are ROCKING (look it up).
In any case, we have lots of local stuff to go on about anyway.
Ruy daSilva continued his whine-fest about how hard he worked a bazillion years ago to get a license for two cars and how is it “substantial” to go from two to 40. Yeah, two to 40. I kid you not. See page 4 for that.
Then he called Romano a “little one.” HEE HEE!
Popcorn time!
It’s all at the beginning of the meeting, so you don’t even have to scroll to find it.
We have election stuff….and election stuff.
First, we have candidate statements for Planning Board hopefuls. See page 18 for the contenders for the full term seat, and page 24 for the unexpired term.
The League of Women Voters held a candidates night in Fairhaven. See page 15 for that.
MassDOT visited Acushnet to talk about proposed changes to South Main Street. Don’t hold your breath on that one. See why on page 27.
We’ve got a slew of letters from our readers this week. I suspect that will hold until the election. See page 12 for the start of those.
See our cover story on page 16. So glad to see that donations were up this year over last year. We had a couple of years of decline, so I hope this is a new trend. The pantry can always use more volunteers, too, so check if out if you are so inclined.
There’s plenty of other stuff in here. While you’re looking for it, be sure to notice who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News.
Until next week then, see ya,

Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
