The Fairhaven Select Board heard from more departments at their last meeting. See page 4 for what’s happening.
The Vicki Oliveira wrongful termination lawsuit is proceeding. See page 3 for a summary of what’s happening there.
The high school football team got more recognition this week. See page 12 to get a look at the cool banner that will now grace the walls of the gym.
And, what’s winter vacation without the Neighb News going to the Rec Center to see the Kool Kids in action?
I have to say they sure seemed to be having fun. See page 12 for a couple of pics and an explanation of what they were doing.
The election is heating up a bit, with a couple of candidates running together (see page 11).
Now, listen: If you’re a candidate and you want to take advantage of the free PR (see page 11), you’d better get cracking. Deadline is next week, but it would be nice if I got one early, huh?
Please be sure to notice who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News. If you’ve been paying attention at all to national trend type stuff, you know that local news outlets are dropping like flies. And you also know how important local news outlets are. So, please support our advertisers, encourage your friends who have businesses to advertise with us; encourage businesses you frequent to advertise with us; and, if you can, donate directly yourself.
Until next week then, see ya
