Oh, spring is really trying to break through.
But, winter isn’t done with us yet. The fluctuations are crazy, but also typical New England weather. We’ll be going from the 50s to the 20’s and even lower. It’ll be dry and sunny and the BOOM, we’ll get snow.
Meanwhile, the calendar slowly moves towards spring. See page 12 for some cool pics that will make you want to get out and walk a little.
The election season is in full swing. We have letters and ads and more on the way. Candidates are holding fund-raisers and meet-and-greet events, and getting ready for candidates nights.
We will be offering our freebie statement and head shot to the candidates. Get those statements in ASAP, Details are on page 5.
We had an incident at Wood School last week. I know emotions run high when it’s about your kids, but really people, let’s all just calm down. The incident was blown way out of proportion. Let’s not villify the woman involved when it appears that there just seems to have been a cultural misunderstanding. She’s from a culture that hugs and touches. Can’t do that in the schools. Le’ts just leave it at that and not make it into something it is not. See page 3 for story.
Lots of happenings this week. Things are really picking up in the live performance realm. See pages 5, 8, 9, 22.
And while you’re checking out other stuff in here, be sure to note who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News. Until next week, then..see ya
