Humane Society Exceeds 2018 Adoption Goal
The Humane Society & Shelter is proud to announce that their goal of 725 adoptions was sexceeded when they reached 738 adoptions on December 31, 2018! In January of 2018 they set their goal to 725 adoptions by the end of the year, knowing this was a very high number.
With the help of social media groups such as the shelter’s Facebook page with a following of 11,599 people, the New Bedford Guide Page which shares our adoptable animals weekly, and the Dartmouth Mall which always invites our animals to community events and shares on social media, they are extremely grateful.
The support of all the people in the community who shared their adoptable pets, referred friends and family, adopted, and donated, you ALL have contributed to the success in their goal being met.
THANK YOU! The shelter has set their 2019 goal to 780 adoptions, and ask that you continue to support them and help these amazing animals find their forever homes in 2019.
Harriet Rantoul-Hazard, On behalf of the Humane Society & Shelter-SouthCoast in Dartmouth MA
