I have never written a letter to an editor, but I figured it was time to voice mine and probably many other people’s concerns regarding your political views.
I pick up a copu of your publication whenever I get a chance. I find the articles interesting and informative. Overall, I think you do a good job. The only problem I have is how you alienate thousands of sophisticated, dedicated readers by voicing your political views.
My concern is how you always seem to depict President Trump in a negative light, even when he is doing his best and truly has the nation’s best interest at heart. I’m sure many of your readers have the same opinion as I do.
I realize that you are certainly entitled to your opinion, as we all are. The problem for you is that by alienating thousands of your readers you are severely restricting donations that you would receive from people who, like me, think that President Trump is a positive force for our country.
Even though I think you are wrong, I certainly do not condemn you for your viewpoints. All I know is that if I were you, I would try to appeal to all your readers.
By toning down your political rhetoric you may actually see more donations pour in from others who do not share your political viewpoint.
