Real election issues
I don’t mean to say that some important issues were not discussed or debated in our presidential election, many were. However, in my opinion, the most important issue in our country is our moral decline, where we feed into the idea or philosopy where we justify or make our own values or morality.
There is nothing new about this. It goes back to the Garden of Eden where the devil deceived Eve by questioning God’s authority by saying, “Did the lord God say not to eat fruit of the tree of knowledge?” She ate and so did Adam. We have been suffering ever since. In today’s secular progressive society any believe or pretend to believe they are right.
The bible is a stumbling block to them. It condems homosexuality and the only grounds for divorce is adultery. We have forgotten the greatest commandment the Lord Jesus gave us, to love and obey the Lord God with all your hear tnad your neighbor as yourself.
Both candidates failed to speak bout the right to life issues in regards to the life of the innocent unborn child. Hillary talked about women’s rights, she failed to mention, though she supports women’s rights she supports Planned Parenthood. They are responsible for a large percentage of the abortions in this country.
Nobody mentioned that many black babies and many white babies are born out of wedlock. No government program can solve this. I’d like to know how you can educate and motivate children when they come from dysfunctional families or, worse yet, no family.
Many in our society think the government can solve our problems, we just need to spedn more money or we need more government programs. It’s delusional to think the government can fix it.
I cite a couple of examples to prove this. We spend more on education per student than just about any other country in the world and we do not rank very high among developed countries.
While I believe in sensible gun control laws you can never control gun violence through legislation. Criminals will always have guns. Chicago is a prime example of this.
Neither candidate is my first choice, however my vote is for Trump. He is not a career politician and I believe his heart is in it for our country and his family. I believe he will stand up for our traditional American values of God, family and country.
