Experience the warmth and wonder of the season with Amahl and the Night Visitors, Gian Carlo Menotti’s beloved one-act opera, performed by an exceptional cast under the direction of David McCarty, with conductor and pianist Dr. Matthew Larson and chorus master Margaret Bossi.
Join us for this heartwarming story of a poor shepherd boy whose life is changed forever when three kings, following a star, stop at his humble home on their journey to Bethlehem.
“Amahl and the Night Visitors has been on the Seaglass “TO-DO” list for many years, and when Maggie Bossi (Dennis Union Church Director of Music) asked to collaborate on it-we jumped at the chance. I am thrilled that we were able to bring so many talented people together to bring this opera to life.” says STC Artistic Director Patrice Tiedemann.
