Looking for a way to keep the whole family entertained during February school vacation? We’ve got you covered.
You can fill up school vacation week with outdoor activities around Buzzards Bay by attending a Bay Adventure, the Buzzards Bay Coalition’s signature outdoor exploration program series.
The Coalition has planned something new and exciting for each day of February school vacation break at locations all around the watershed. All ages are welcome!
Exploring the beach can be fun in winter! On these free family programs, you’ll discover the plants and animals that live on Buzzards Bay in winter.

Mon. 2/17, 10–11:30 a.m. Make Your Own Birdfeeder, Headwaters Conservation Area, 209 Blossom Rd., Westport
Tues., 2/18, 10–11:30 a.m. Sandy Surprise Beach Exploration, Fort Taber Park, 1000 So. Rodney French Blvd., New Bedford
Wed., 2/19, 1–3 p.m. Outdoor Obstacles, The Sawmill, 32 mill Road, Acushnet)
Thurs., 2/20, 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Marsh Madness, Little Bay Conservation Area, 12 Little Bay Road, Fairhaven
