Cinemaniacs
Join South Coast Cinemaniacs for “Ball of Fire” (1941), a screwball comedy retelling of a fairy tale classic! Nightclub singer Sugarpuss O’Shea (Barbara Stanwyck) seeks sanctuary with a group of encyclopedia writing professors. She’s the Snow White to their band of dwarves. Is the youngest (Gary Cooper) only fascinated by her facility with American slang?
The program starts on Monday, April 14 at 5:30 PM at the Millicent Library on 45 Center St., Fairhaven. All are welcome, and the event is free! Use the Walnut St. entrance.
South Coast Cinemaniacs meets the second Monday of the month, excluding holidays, to watch and discuss classic movies.
