The Fairhaven Improvement Association is thrilled to announce that we will once again sponsor the Concerts Under the Stars at Town Hall this summer!
Join us for five weeks of amazing live music, community spirit, and summer fun. Don’t miss out on this beloved summer tradition. S
All concerts start at 7 p.m. in front of Town Hall, 40 Center St., Fairhaven. FREE. Weather permitting. Bring a chair/blanket.
• July 11: The Buzzard Blue Band, rock & roll
• July 18: Play By Play, classic & contemporary rock
• July 25: Mojo Kings, rock & roll, funk & soul
• Aug. 1: Truue, rock with a shot of country
• Aug. 8: G and Friends, jazz, pop, rock blues
Acushnet
Under the Pavilion
At Acushnet Public Library, 232 Middle Road, under our pavillion. Every Wed., from 6–7:30 p.m. Bring a blanket or chair.
• July 3 Pearly Baker Band known for playing Grateful Dead music, but they don’t consider themselves a cover band—they play Dead music their way.
• July 10 Longtime New England singer/songwriter Matt York will perform songs and tell stories about the great Willie Nelson.
• July 10 The Dave Alves Band, known for their creative spin on your favorite songs.
Concerts are held rain or shine. Join us under the pavilion, or in the community room in the event of rain. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Acushnet Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Summer Sound Series
The City’s popular Summer Sound Series is returning for 2024, bringing a wide variety of musicians and genres to the annual series of free concerts Downtown. Every Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. through Sept. 6, with the exception of Aug. 2 due to the Feast of the Blessed Sacrament. The free concerts alternate between lower Union Street (between N. Water Street and Route 18) and Purchase Street (between Union and William streets), and feature participation from local organizations and restaurants.
• June 28: Felix Brown Band (R&B/Funk) – Purchase Street
• July 5: Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish (Americana/Blues) – Union Street
• July 12: Sugarbabies (Top 40/ Dance) – Purchase Street
• July 19: Pearly Baker (Grateful Dead/Roots) – Union Street
