More than 50 people showed up to sing along to Christmas Carols and welcome Santa Claus to Fairhaven Town Hall on Saturday evening, 12/10.
Sponsored by the Fairhaven Improvement Association, with singing led by members of Voices in Time, the free event featured free hot chocolate and cookies in the auditorium of the Town Hall after Santa’s arrival. The Big Guy made more than an appearance this year. He sat inside the foyer of town hall, posed for pictures with the children (and their adults), and handed out free crayons and coloring books.
The annual Sing-along is a reminder to all children everywhere that Santa is close to finalizing his list. They should know it’s very important not to goof up so close to the finish line. This weekend is the last weekend before Christmas and all the light displays are on, so people are encouraged to drive around town and check it all out. Photo by Beth David.
